Preamble

READA is built on the belief that understanding people begins with respecting them.
Our technology listens, learns and adapts - but always within the bounds of integrity, transparency and cultural respect.
This Charter - our code of conduct - defines how we use AI responsibly, how we handle information with care and how we ensure that our work remains rooted in truth and human dignity.
It is a living document: a guide for how we think, create, and act.

1. Integrity at the Core

Every insight, dataset and model carries human accountability. Integrity is the foundation we operate from.

2. Human-Centered Innovation

We design for people, not for systems. Technology serves humanity by preserving dignity, agency and voice. Empathy is our measure of progress.

3. Transparency & Trust

Every READA output is traceable and explainable, from the data sources to the cultural references. We disclose when and how AI is used and believe that trust is earned through clarity.

4. Privacy & Stewardship

Data is a human right. We operate under UAE Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45/2021), GDPR and global ethical standards.

5. Equity & Non-Discrimination

Bias is the enemy of truth. We test our systems and our assumptions for fairness. Representation is accuracy. We reflect all voices across gender, nationality, culture, religion and class.

6. Accountability & Oversight

AI expands capability, not responsibility and as humans, we remain answerable for every decision. High-impact projects undergo internal ethics reviews and concerns are met with transparency and openness.

7. Safety, Reliability & Security

We protect against misuse, manipulation and cultural harm. we constantly test our models for accuracy and resilience in line with UAE cybersecurity standards. Security is cultural care.

8. Cultural Sensitivity & Authenticity

Culture is our context and our compass. Every output is checked for cultural resonance and respect.

9. Sustainability & Responsibility

Ethical progress includes the planet. Our AI infrastructure prioritizes energy efficiency and supports the UAE's Net Zero 2050 initiative.

10. Continuous Learning & Evolution

Ethics evolve as societies do. We remain in conversation with regulators, researchers and communities to keep updating our practices as standards and expectations shift.

11. Collaborative & Inclusive Governance

We believe in open dialogue and shared accountability. Anyone has the right to question, challenge and shape our systems. Integrity grows through participation.
